Abstract Vase

Boasting delicate colors and abstract patterns, this artfully hand-painted vase is as exquisite as the flowers it's designed to hold. The cylindrical shape is molded by hand using red clay and decorated with the ancient englobe method ("ingobbio" in Italian) with three different abstract patterns that delineates the base, center, and top. The depth of color and detailed designs is obtained with a first firing at 1000 degrees while a second firing at 930 degrees sets the lovely glossy finish.
