Composizione 06 Apple Sculpture

Enriched with shimmering accents of gold leaf, this apple-shaped sculpture is obtained by carefully selecting, gluing together, and working on a lathe with different types of prized wood. Their combination creates superb contrasts of tones and grain, enhanced by the finishing beeswax layer. A spike used to shoe horses stands for the stalk. Part of a limited series of 10 pieces, it is treated to be woodworm-free and carries the artist's fire-stamped logo on the underside.
