Pennelata Gold and Black Ceramic Centerpiece

Handmade and hand-decorated ceramic basin with a pure gold brush intervention. The clay is hand shaped and fired at 1000 °C for 12 hours. Then it is decorated with a black finish and fired again at 920 °C. Once cooled, artisans brush a gold intervention with pure gold and fire it again at 720 °C to fix colors permanently and give the ceramic its beautiful shiny and glossy feeling. Each basin is unique, handcrafted in Italy with the traditional "Faenza" technique.
