Toscana Mosaic Tableau

Florentine marble artists at Scarpelli were inspired by the nuanced grains of yellow Siena marble for this graceful Florentine mosaic depicting a Tuscan landscape. Scarpelli employed Renaissance techniques, different semi-precious stones, such as Paesina and Magnesite, as well as a lot of patience for handcrafting this beautiful décor piece. The mosaic is applied on a slab of slate acting as contemporary frame.
