Small Vase With Sponges And Lichens By Patricia Urquiola

In collaboration with the school Istituto Caselli and the Royal Factory of Capodimonte, Urquiola designed a limited edition of porcelain artworks that tell a story of alchemy and experimentation. Hybrida is a project that translates manual skills and artisan talent into hybrid shapes and figures. Traditional handcraft processes meet experimental ones, like the immersion in porcelain of unconventional materials, such as sponges and cotton, alongside the mosses from the Real Bosco.
