Part of a limited series of only 10 pieces, this stunning apple-shaped sculpture with a stalk-like spike arises from the creative combination of different, prized types of woods, which are glued together, minutely worked on a lathe, and finally embraced by shimmering sheets of gold leaf. The woodworm-resistant treatment and finishing layer of beeswax allow the design to retain its beauty over time. The artist's logo is fire-stamped on the underside.
