Lefka N.11 Close Scales Vase

This stunning decorative vase is a work of art entirely crafted by hand of terra-cotta with the "colombino" technique, without the help of mechanical tools or molds. Unique and organic, the stunning texture is reminiscent of fish scales, while the name comes from the ancient Greek word for white, "leukos", to hint at the pure shade of this exquisite artifact, which boasts an enamel finish and was fired twice in the kiln. Each piece is numbered and signed by the artist and any variations in colors and measurements is the result of the traditional artisanal methods used by the artist.
