Pinnacoli Medium Vase in Red/Gray by Luciano Gaspari

The elegantly elongated silhouette of this vase is enlivened by a striking color combination of gray base and vibrant red flared top. This design by Luciano Gaspari was first exhibited at the Venice Biennale in 1960 and re-issued as part of a larger collection of three different sizes and bases also available in gray. Entirely made of mouth-blown Murano glass with the "sommerso" method, the colorful elements are enclosed in a transparent glass frame. This sculptural decorative piece can be displayed as is or with a long-stemmed flower to enrich a contemporary interior.
