Ruggero Vase

This exceptional vase handcrafted of glazed terracotta, lathed and shaped by hand pays homage to Ruggero, the Saracen knight from the epic poem "Orlando Furioso". Sitting atop a pedestal base, the vase's body is shaped like an Arab-Normal capital richly decorated with anthropomorphic elements and enlivened by a topping hat marked by deep moldings.
