Set of 2 Tall Black and White Cup

This stunning cup, elevated on a textured base, was made entirely of "terraglia bianca" a special clay used in making the traditional ceramic artifacts in the town of Lodi. The decorations on the sides of the cup are crafted with a ceramic back slip adorned with white abstract decorations made with the "sgraffio" technique. Each piece was handcrafted and one-of-a-kind, and will boast with time the characteristic cracks on the crystal-like surface that are typical of this kind of ceramics. This exquisite piece can be combined with others by the same designer in a contemporary home.
