This unique sculpture is entirely handcrafted of grès in a stunning Amalfi blue color, with a vitrified appearance obtained through a firing in a kiln at 1200-1400 C°. It represents Pizzicato, a little donkey, beloved symbol of hard work in the Neapolitan culture. Part of the Bestiario OGM collection that mixes stoneware with recovered materials, the steel head is an old hammer, to underline its proverbial stubbornness, and the mane is made of blacksmith's nails, both with a polished golden enamel that complements the lapis lazuli color of the body.

Sasà Sorrentino
Campania, Italy | Sculptor
In the eponymous brand, Sasà Sorrentino combines traditional themes with innovative, sustainable production methods to create imaginative and wholly unique pieces. Sorrentino reimagines everyday objects-notably recyclables, handles, and old tools-and repurposes them, their new form embodying the duality of their functional and sculptural charms. Characterized by ironies and double entendres, each Sasà Sorrentino piece tells a story, reminding us of our collective past but also setting our sights on the limitless future ahead.Discover more
