The exquisite frame that surrounds this rectangular mirror was entirely hand carved on a piece of antique wood. Every step in the making of this precious, one-of-a-kind piece was executed by hand using methods known for centuries by Florentine artisans. The preparation is made using natural materials; then pure 22k gold is applied. For the finishing step, agate stone is used to bronze the surface. Finally, the piece is giving an aged patina.
