Handwoven Bianco Coccodrillo Runner

Minutely woven in Mali and subsequently sewn and finalized by hand in Coloriage's workshop in Italy by migrants and refugees, this runner is decorated with a clean geometric motif reminiscent of the trace left by a crocodile's tail, a sacred animal in Mali. It is made by combining cotton fabric cultivated, spun, and hand-woven in the African country, then decorated with a natural pigment made of earthenware and local herb decoction, with Italian black cotton satin, hailing from dead stocks in support of a circular economy.
