In this lamp fixture, a hand-blown Murano glass orb is embedded in the corner of a large square block of black Carrara marble, complemented by a brass panel embedded along the opposite corner. The juxtaposition of shapes creates architectural rigor that is softened by the delicate veining of the marble and the metallic finish of the thin rectangular brass insert.
