Layers Orange Bookshelf by Nendo

This splendid 2-shelf bookcase showcases a striking sculptural design in a warm chromatic palette of orange, red and brown movable panels hanging behind the rectangular structure of matte white extra-light glass. Designed by Nendo and realized by Glas Italia master glass artisans, the colored panels are obtained with a complex technique, whereby a colored film is inserted between two 8mm-thick sheets of glass and sealed applying heat. By sliding and overlapping them it is possible to create constantly changing chromatic variations. Available also in cool tones (light-blue, grey, violet).
