Untitled Sculpture

Crafted in a hard, at least 3-centuries old, Italian Walnut, this Untitled work of art belongs to a series of wood sculptures made with wood destined for use as firewood. The trunk was recovered before it was sectioned and split, and the surface worked in a way that enhanced the grain and natural imperfections.
