Woman with Fish Decorative Plate

This decorative ceramic plate is a special way of bringing a unique artistic touch into your home. Molded by hand on a lathe using white clay, this exquisite piece is decorated with the ancient engobe method ("ingobbio" in Italian) with a graceful central motif of a young woman flanked by two blue fish that seemingly evoke a blouse collar. The clear details and brilliant colors are obtained with a first firing at 1000°C while a second firing at 930°C sets the lovely glossy finish.
