Three Graces Tapestry

Three Graces' was exhibited at the Florence Biennale of Art and Design 2021. An international jury assigned it the Lorenzo Il Magnifico Award. The essence of femininity, present in the three dancing women-goddesses of Botticelli, is an inspiration for this tapestry, but it is elaborated to a present-day feeling. In contrast with the classical depiction of the female responding to a uniform ideal, physically and emotionally, the feminine figures show varying attitudes and physical shapes.
