Tritt Icon 2 Sculpture

As a standalone statement decorative artwork or paired with two other pieces composing the Tritt Icon tryptic, this organic sculpture combines a primitive material with a contemporary texture obtained with traditional restoration techniques. Showcasing a section of a centenary Ginkgo Biloba tree, the raw surface is painted by hand with acrylic colors, enriched with gold leaf and ground Lapis Lazuli and finally treated with epoxy resin to infuse a lustrous, iridescent finish of great visual effect.
