Bedding Atelier

Bedding Atelier is a Tuscan company that designs and produces made-to-measure furnishing solutions, armchairs, sofas, beds and accessories, a sartorial 'atelier' that has been making handcrafted products in Italy since 1970.

The beginnings of the Bedding brand date back to the 1970s with the meeting of three entrepreneurs: Mario, Massimo and Fabrizio, who gave birth to "bedding brevetti", specialized in soft folding chairs that turn into comfortable beds.

This is the time of the first meetings with renowned professionals, such as architects Carlo De Carli, Andrea Branzi and Clino Castelli. A good story with one of the most famous studios in the world "Ettore Sottsass Jr" (his is the iconic Tappeto Volante in our showroom) and with the English group Dillon, Malcum Allum and George Sowden. In the 1980s the company outlined the "classic" style with which Bedding Atelier is still identified today and for which it is recognised in Italy and abroad.

In 2017, driven by a deep passion, a continuous search for excellence and determination, supported by a wealth of unique experiences, Bedding transformed itself into Bedding Atelier, a registered trademark that can be defined as the author of valuable projects always handmade in Italy since 1970.

For more than 20 years, it has also dedicated itself to nautical furniture, as a partner to architects and interior designers from all over the world. Bedding Atelier draws on the experience and manufacturing tradition of its territory, proposing distinctive solutions in both classic and contemporary styles, carefully selecting fabrics and materials to interpret projects and create a product of 'exclusive comfort': handmade, rich in aesthetic and functional value.

Sensitive to safeguarding the planet, it preserves the precious scraps of craftsmanship to devise sustainable projects and designs, creating sartorial fashion accessories. Today Bedding Atelier is an industry leader and is ready to take on new and exciting challenges.
