Meccani presents Calafuria

For Artemest Virtual Craft Week, Meccani Design launches Calafuria, a stunning collection of decorative objects inspired by the sea and the colors that you can find at Calafuria, an incredible location near Livorno, in Tuscany.

Meccani Design, created in the 50s, designs and produces home décor objects crafted using artisanal techniques that are the result of three generations of artisans at work in Tuscany. The modern pieces of furniture express their strong link with tradition, combined with a contemporary style. Innovation and tradition meet in these objects that are built with great respect for nature, in a sustainable way.

For Artemest Virtual Craft Week, Meccani Design launches Calafuria, a stunning collection of decorative objects inspired by the sea and the colors that you can find at Calafuria, an incredible location near Livorno, in Tuscany. The hand-carved wood ideally represents the sea when it is calm, on which different colors and shapes are reflected: it starts from the gray of the morning, when the sun has not yet come out, and it passes through the midday yellow 'till the fiery red at sunset. The collection consists of six entirely handmade pieces and is also a tribute to the beauty of Italy.
