The announcement of Pantone Color of the Year has been established as a ritual​ over the past two decades, long awaited every December by fashion, design and color enthusiasts all over the world. The choice draws its influences from the social and political climate, and it's always more than a simple determination of the trendiest color.

For 2020, the beginning of a new decade, the experts from the Pantone Color Institute have selected PANTONE 19-4052, or Classic Blue. As the name itself suggests, this shade is familiar, simple and yet sophisticated, capable of giving any room a touch of tranquility and depth.
