SPLOT® DESIGN is a team of creative minds with a passion for art and innovation applied to design. A garden where experienced professionals take care of each project, treating it as unique and creating tailor-made solutions.

Svetlana Golubeva is the founder and creative soul of SPLOT®. Born in Russia and educated in Moscow and Italy, her career combines engineering, art, design, and architecture. From a very young age, she developed a particular interest in what can be regenerated and brought back to life. Growing up in a basic environment, where creativity was the answer to scarce resources, she learned to see the hidden potential in forgotten materials. A form of concrete, everyday imagination: finding beauty where others see only waste.

With her arrival in Italy, she became interested in the world of manufacturing, which revealed a universe rich in expressive possibilities. She began experimenting with recycled metals, working them as living, changeable materials. This approach gave rise to SPLOT®: a project that combines craftsmanship, recycling, and vision.

For Svetlana, each creation is the result of a carefully calibrated process, born from dialogue with the person who chooses to entrust themselves to the studio. The materials are rigorously selected and worked using techniques developed in-house. Her approach is tailor-made, intuitive, and deeply contemporary. Art is a constant presence, visible in the gestures, research, and poetic tension that runs through each creation.

SPLOT® DESIGN is part of the research project of the INTHEGARDEN design studio, which was founded in an area rich in manufacturing tradition and developed as a research workshop on the language of design and materials.

Each project is a journey of discovery, where research and experimentation come together to create objects that tell stories of rebirth and innovation. We tell stories through materials: natural or recycled metals, carefully shaped; weaves, hand-crafted surfaces, unusual combinations. It is in metal that our research is expressed most intensely, but organic and natural materials also enter the process, enriching each piece with different meanings and vibrations.

Founded by Svetlana Golubeva, SPLOT® has grown into a collective where craftsmanship is intertwined with poetic, open, and sensitive design thinking.

Each piece is the result of collaboration with Italian artisans and the desire to give new life to discarded materials, transforming them into objects that inspire emotion and stand the test of time.

SPLOT®'s identity is based on three key principles: high-quality Italian craftsmanship, which guarantees quality and attention to detail at every stage of production.

Sustainability, understood as an ethical and poetic choice: the recovery of materials becomes a creative and conscious act.

Tailored design, because every object is a story to be written together: a dialogue between those who create it and those who welcome it into their lives, capable of reflecting their identity.
