When choosing the perfect gift, what do you look for?

When I choose a gift, I’m really searching for a feeling - something that makes you pause and smile. I love objects with soul, pieces that whisper a story or hold a trace of the maker’s hand. The best gifts aren’t about extravagance; they’re about emotion, texture, and a sense of connection.

It’s always more fun to gift something that will play a part in someone’s story - something that will be used in the creation or preservation of happy moments. A leather-bound notebook for capturing dreams, a candelabra that lights a dinner with friends, a beautiful tea set, or a marbled photo album for memories in the making. Gifts that don’t just decorate life; they become part of it.

How did you curate your selection of gift ideas from Artemest?

Artemest is such a treasure chest of creativity. I was instantly drawn to pieces that feel happy, sculptural, and whimsical - objects that make you smile or spark curiosity through their form, color, or story. I love when design has a sense of fun; beauty doesn’t always have to be serious.
