From the 13th to the 21st of Steptember 2025, in celebration of the ninth edition of The Venice Glass Week, immerse yourself in the captivating world of Venetian glass artistry. With events taking place across Venice, Murano, and Mestre, the festival brings together the finest glass artists and creators from around the globe, offering an unparalleled exploration of this timeless craft.

From September 13th to 21st, Venice, Mestre, and Murano will once again become the stage for The Venice Glass Week, the international festival devoted to celebrating, supporting, and promoting the art of glass. Since its foundation in 2017, the festival has become a pivotal cultural moment for both Venice and the global glass community. Now in its ninth edition, the event embraces its most ambitious programme yet under the poetic theme #TheMagicOfGlass.
Glass has always held a touch of magic: a substance born of fire and sand, shaped through centuries of knowledge, and transformed by the hands of artists into works that balance fragility and strength, tradition and invention. This year’s edition pays homage to that alchemy with a programme that reveals both the historic depth and contemporary vitality of this timeless art.

On Murano, the Museo del Vetro will present two major exhibitions: the immersive show "Vero Casanova", ideated by Consorzio Promovetro Murano and curated by architect Matteo Silverio, and a retrospective dedicated to the historic Fratelli Toso glassworks. On San Giorgio Maggiore, LE STANZE DEL VETRO will explore the pivotal years when Murano glass gained international recognition, while Palazzo Franchetti will once again host the Venetian Glass Study Days, gathering leading experts for a focus on Venice’s influence abroad.
The Venice Glass Week affirms that glass is a living art form, a language of light and transparency that continues to evolve. In the hands of masters and innovators alike, it remains a medium of magic.
Discover an exclusive selection of extraordinary works created by master glassmakers who will take part in this year's The Venice Glass Week. Each piece is the result of centuries-old traditions, reflecting the heritage, artistry, and technical mastery that have been handed down from generation to generation. From timeless techniques to contemporary interpretations, these creations embody the soul of glass: a perfect balance of innovation, craftsmanship, and cultural identity.
