Born from the Sali family’s passion for fine textiles in the late 1950s, Biancoperla embodies over half a century of Italian craftsmanship. Today, the Tuscan brand transforms natural fibres into bespoke linens, merging ancestral artisanal tradition with contemporary sensibility. Each creation reflects a dedication to quality, sustainability, and timeless elegance.

Born from the Sali family’s passion for textiles in the late 1950s, Biancoperla's atelier grew from a small linen shop on the Ligurian coast into a manufacturing workshop dedicated to artisanal excellence. Today, tradition and modernity blend seamlessly in a controlled, fully Made-in-Italy supply chain, where every step - from fibre selection to finishing - is guided by precision and care. Specializing in bespoke creations for bed, bath, and table, the atelier works with fine materials such as Egyptian Giza cotton, silk, cashmere, linen, and organic cotton. Each piece can be personalized through colors, patterns, and refined details, offering tailored solutions for private homes, boutique hotels, and even nautical projects.
Sustainability plays a central role: certified fabrics and responsible production practices reflect a commitment to high-quality craftsmanship that respects both people and the environment. From its humble origins to its global presence, this family-run workshop continues to celebrate Italian textile heritage through creations that are timeless, elegant, and made to last.

What story do you aim to tell through your textiles?
With each collection, we strive to share a story rooted in family, craftsmanship, and Italian taste. Our family has worked in the textile world since 1955, and at Biancoperla this heritage evolves into something new, blending tradition with a contemporary sensibility. But our story is not only woven from fabrics - it is shaped by people. Every project begins with dialogue: the exchange between our team, our clients, and our partners.
We see service as an extension of design itself - the ability to listen, tailor, and thoughtfully guide every request. Our textiles speak of lived-in homes, welcoming spaces, and genuine gestures. They reflect the value of time, the care behind every detail, and that quiet beauty which, to us, represents true luxury.

How do you select the materials and patterns for your collections?
Our Design Office works well in advance, researching trends, palettes, and materials to shape collections that are not only beautiful but also relevant and commercially sound. Each new concept emerges from an ongoing dialogue between style and marketing: aesthetics meet market insight, turning into products that resonate with contemporary tastes while staying true to our identity. We carefully choose weaves, patterns, and textures, reimagining classic motifs with a modern twist and always balancing elegance with functionality.
How does textile design contribute to creating unique atmospheres in a space?
Textiles are the soul of an environment — they transform the feel of a room, define its character, and create comfort. Whether in private homes, hotels, or on yachts, our fabrics act as elements of harmony, capable of evoking warmth and sophistication. Every fibre, color, and finish is chosen to interact with the space, shaping interiors that are not just visually appealing but truly inviting to live in.
