Baby Wild Boar Sculpture

This baby wild boar is a superb sculpture crafted by Vincenzo Romanelli in 2011. Part of the landscape of the Tuscan countryside, the boar has been studied by the artist in its local habitat. This is part of a collection of pieces that depict this animal in vivid detail, lively poses, and striking texture to mimic its coat. Modelled in clay and then cast in bronze using the lost-wax method. It is part of a 12-piece limited series, in which each sculpture is numbered, dated, and signed.
