The eclectic and dynamic pattern of this carpet was designed by Nathalie Du Pasquier in 1987 and is a limited edition of 36 pieces. The hand-knotted pattern boasts an array of colorful forms and abstract shapes seemingly dissonant but that come together to form a harmonious canvas: the central element is defined by a mirrored design of orange-outlined peaks resembling fire and red-black circles floating in a red background with black-and-white checkered rectangles, all framed by a wide blue border with sinuous white lines and a thin exterior edge in red. Available also in size 170x250 cm. Handmade by craftsmen in Yum technique. Materialism Collection.
