Black Monkey Mask

A avant-garde thread links the artistic production of Freak Lab, here rendered through the terrified expression chosen for the monkey mask in black-glazed majolica. The artist employed the "colombino" technique - consisting of overlapping clay rings - to create the first shape before minutely molding and finishing it by hand.
