Danza delle Comete Round Painting

Danza delle Comete translates the fleeting passage of comets through the cosmos into an abstract choreography of light, movement and memory. Hand-crafted in Italy as a unique work, it is built on wood with aluminum jigs and successive layers of epoxy resin, metallic pigments, rare earths and micaceous materials, a technique whose optical effects, transparencies and chromatic movements can never be identically repeated. Within a deep blue field, luminous trails and fragments of matter seem to chase one another and dissolve into space. Inspired by the comets of the Kuiper Belt and the Oort Cloud, the work evokes missed encounters, distant orbits and the primordial memory of the Solar System. Original works inspired by the same theme are available upon request in varying dimensions. Given the nature of the medium and the handcrafted technique, each piece is to be considered unique.
