Fili Rug

The image on this soft and elegant rug represents a series of fig trees found in India, one in the foreground and two smaller ones in the background. The lower more densely woven section of the rug in a dark wool yard represents the earth while the upper white section is meant to depict the clear skies, conveying the idea of transformation.
