In Strada Painting by Renato Crisculo - Main view

The urban theme has always been dear to the Neapolitan artist who portrays the frenzy of city life with an extremely keen eye, its frenetic rhythms that prevent people from living their lives with more placid and relaxed rhythms. For this reason, Criscuolo's figures do not have a defined face, but a physicality that invades the canvas, transmitting its frenzy thanks also to the use of dark tones. The execution is vigorous, exalted and intense. The frame is not included and can be ordered upon request. Please, ask the Concierge service for further information. The artwork is delivered with a certificate of authenticity.

Griffe Montenapoleone by Vetrerie di Empoli

Toscana, Italy | Glassmith

Editor's Picks

Looking for emotions

Vetrerie di Empoli was founded in Tuscany in 1936 and still belongs to the Parentini family. Initially dedicated to the production of the characteristic green glass typical of Empoli, it then evolved towards increasingly elegant products inspired by Tuscan and Italian culture and craftsmanship. This activity soon had great commercial success and an unexpected artistic and cultural impact, conveyed by the first single-brand shop opened in ‘39 in Via Pietro Verri, and then in Via Borgospesso and Via Montenapoleone, again in the central fashion district of Milan's quadrilateral of fashion. Between 1939 and 2024, the Vetrerie di Empoli shops were a reference point for an increasingly international and sophisticated clientele, eager for high quality products that were at the same time surprising and exciting. For almost 1 century, the Parentini family that runs the company has continued to create innovative and original collections, including 2 patents of high technique and design, one of which was selected by ADI for the Compasso d'Oro. Today Vetrerie di Empoli continues its activity with an international distribution, now consolidated thanks to the refinement of its highly handcrafted and versatile collections with the brands VdE 1938 and the historical Griffe Montenapoleone, because our customers do not only ask to buy beautiful products, but objects that arouse an emotion and represent their personality and taste.
