Collection of copper vases with enameled interior and enameled exterior. Unlike the Novae vases, the Mercurio vases are characterized by a rougher, more irregular appearance. Fire enameling on copper is a complex craft technique, dating back to the 1950s. Industrialized by only two companies in Italy, De Poli of Padua and Dal Campo of Milan, it was abandoned in the Seventies and is now being revived by Incalmi, which is rebuilding the tradition.
