The surface of the René Bistrot Table is broken into smaller pieces and repaired with liquid gold. Piero Lissoni drew his inspiration for the tables from the Japanese art of Kintsugi, which views cracks in ceramic as mere parts of its natural life cycle. The collection uses heritage stones that are no longer quarried, making them even more special.
