Roma 106 - Isola Tiberina Polaroid Lift

A shot of the Tiber Island was chosen as the subject for this stunning piece. Part of a series of 12 subjects among Roman architecture's icons, it is obtained by the careful transposition of the original's emulsion layer on a hand-cut sheet of cotton paper, a step that results in unpredictable ripples and tears. A pink bottom and a minimalist passe-partout (cm 20x20) complete the piece.
