A hotel room in Rome, suggested by the view of a Roman square with a fountain in the background, defines this oil on cotton painting, where a woman wearing a black dress appears engrossed in a phone call. The bold brushstrokes and daring use of colors are a peculiar characteristic of Federico Lombardo's style, which lends every element the attention it deserves. The painting is mounted on wooden frame support.
