Stella di Neutrone explores the boundary between extreme matter and cosmic imagination. Hand-crafted in Italy as a unique work, its deeply tactile surface is constructed on wood through successive layerings of epoxy resin, metallic pigments, rare earths, micaceous materials and lightened structural inserts, shaped with aluminum jigs; the technique generates profound textures and metallic reflections that cannot be identically reproduced. Cavities, reliefs and mirrored hollows evoke synapses, quantum wells and gravitational portals, the corroded skin of a star that survived an explosion. The artist treats extreme density as a symbol of thought: matter compressed into the image of a cosmic mind.
