Terrasole Round Beige Rug by Virginia Arlotto

Designed by Virginia Arlotto in collaboration with Malcusa for Sculptural Couture, her installation presented at Milano Design Week 2026, Terrasole is a rug of distinctly organic character. A round central form extends outward in rays, physically connected by a metal loop, recalling pattern pieces laid flat during the making of a garment. The composition reflects Arlotto's signature approach: natural materials, soft contrasts, and a controlled palette in which texture and proportion carry the narrative. Each element is considered, each detail intentional - the result is a piece that feels discovered rather than designed. Composition: 30% New Zealand wool and 70% tencel.
