Ultimo Domicilio 27, U. Zamoyskiego. Cracow, Poland, Photograph

This was my home away from home, a place to come back to and hide. A neutral space for growing and sharing. I kept it empty for some time, then slowly began to fill it with new and old things that soon become familiar. It was the place that hosted my desire to build something new, uncorrupted by the past. It was a space, not only physical, that somehow projected into a timeless future. Nine prints 50x50 on Giclée Hahnemühle Photorag Baryta paper mounted on a white wooden grid frame. Edition 2/5. The frame is included.

Lorenzo Castore
Lombardia, Italy | Photographer
Raised between Rome and Florence in the 1970s and ‘80s, Lorenzo Castore is an Italian photographer who fell in love with the craft after taking photos in the streets of New York City when he moved there in 1992. A trained lawyer, in 1999 he decided to leave his career to become a war photographer in Albania and Kosovo. Later on, his work shifted from in-the-field to slower, long-form photographic narratives, mainly drawing on his personal experience, memory, and the relation between individual stories. His photographs have been exhibited and published internationally.Discover more
