White Moon 02 Print - Main view

“Che fai tu, luna, in ciel? dimmi, che fai, silenziosa luna?”. This line by poet Giacomo Leopardi inspired this fine glycée-type print on 100% cotton canvas. The bright backdrop in gradient light blue and lilac is complemented by a moon-shaped silver plate in the top right corner, recreating an image that is as simple as it is dreamlike. Please ask the Concierge for size variant and frame (not included).

Without people there is no project, no architecture, no design. People are our point zero, our Punto Zero

Punto Zero is an architecture and design studio based in Rome's Rione Monti district, with projects all over Italy, from Stromboli to Milan to Padua. The three partners, Giorgio Marchese, Arianna Nobile and Silvia Firmani, believe that architecture has an ethical function as well as an aesthetic and practical one: to bring happiness to those who live it. The centre of all their projects are people, the true ‘zero point’ from which everything takes shape, in a balance between art, psychology and perfectionism.
Franca e Allegra is a line of tables and coffee tables born from experimentation, with references to 1960s design. The name evokes two grandmothers, two girls, two adjectives for houses of times gone by. The world of reference is one of soft, curved shapes, with colours that are sometimes very saturated and other times more muted and pastel. Grandmothers, real and imaginary, have inspired a design that is both monolithic and severe, but also cheerful and playful. Every element has been studied down to the smallest detail: there is not a single right angle, and the search for the right radius of curvature took time and passion right from the design phase. Production is entrusted to the craftsmen of the Pesaro district, who keep alive the tradition of manual skills and a non-industrial production process.
In aesthetic and conceptual continuity, the Franca and Allegra - Rammendi line was born, in collaboration with Plastiz®. The tables were broken down and reassembled into complementary furnishings (shelves, bedside tables, consoles, benches), with the addition of 100% recycled and recyclable polystyrene tops from the ‘Glass’ series by Plastiz®. The creation process was a cut-and-sew job, inspired by the skills of the grandmothers from whom the entire collection takes its name.
This sustainable choice generates a vibrant colour combination of unexpected contrasts and sophisticated assonances. The result is a playful aesthetic that conceals the robustness of the construction and the resistance of the table top, with a glass-like consistency that is light and unbreakable.
