The production of Arcea srl Handmade design, established in 1978, has its roots in the Middle Ages, when, as early as the 11th century, the presence of workshops and master ceramists active in the towns of the Amalfi Coast is attested.
Over the centuries, the working technique was refined, modelled, customised into shapes and decorations of particular value and elegance, unique in their beauty and recognisable in the vast panorama of Italian ceramic creation.
In its workshops, the heart of the company, Arcea renews the expressiveness of the art of Vietrese ceramics with great creative freedom and absolute respect for ancient production techniques.
Its traditional repertoire lives on and coexists with and in modern languages, and together with architects, designers, creatives and artisans it gives life to collections with a remarkable expressive force, creating floor and wall tiles for interiors and exteriors, handmade terracotta and frost-proof and non-slip porcelain stoneware, not to mention furnishing items, all of which can always be customised in terms of colours, shapes and decorations.
