The interior renovation project of the apartment at Harcourt House involved the complete transformation of a 2000 square foot apartment. The project included a partial refurbishment of the apartment, and the design incorporated high-end finishes and materials, such as hand painted silk wallpapers, custom artisan furniture and bespoke lighting. The color scheme was carefully chosen to create a warm and inviting atmosphere, while highlighting the architectural features of the space. The final result is a luxurious and stylish space that reflects the clients’ personal style and taste, while also incorporating the unique charm of the Harcourt House building.

What inspired you in this project, and what challenges did you face during the design process?
For this particular property, the inspiration came directly from the client herself. Her extraordinary life story, vibrant personality, and distinctive colour preferences became the foundation for every design decision. Each piece in the property reflects her unique journey and individuality, creating a truly bespoke environment tailored to her lifestyle.

One of the challenges we faced during the process was ensuring that the design honoured her personal aesthetic while maintaining a cohesive flow throughout the property. Balancing bold statements with timeless elegance required thoughtful curation of materials and finishes, as well as meticulous attention to detail.

How would you define your signature style, and how is it reflected in this project?

Our signature style is best described as modern classic. It’s an aesthetic that blends the timelessness of classical elements with a fresh, contemporary sensibility. This approach ensures the interiors we create are not only enduring but also adaptable to our clients' evolving tastes over time.

In this project, our modern classic ethos is evident in the careful layering of textures, the understated elegance of the architectural detailing, and the selection of timeless furnishings.
