Clesitera Vase by Ettore Sottsass - Memphis Milano

Part of a series of striking vases designed by Ettore Sottsass, this piece was created in 1986 for Memphis and combines the distinctive aesthetic principles of the group evident in the eclectic combination of colors, asymmetrical silhouette, and postmodernist allure. Entirely made of blown glass and signed at the base, this vase boasts a totem-like structure of juxtaposed geometric elements marked by different hues.
