Cardellino Oil Cruet

Featuring a delicate illustration of a multi-colored goldfinch sitting on a branch, this oil cruet was made from red terracotta and crafted on a pottery wheel. Its engobed surface was achieved by firing it at 1000°. It was then treated with a transparent glaze, before firing it for a second time at 930°.
