Glacè Contrast Vase by Margherita Barbini

A pure and minimal work, this unique opaque beige vase in Murano glass was designed by Margherita Barbini to investigate the constrasts of textures present in nature. The vase was blown into a hollow mold with decorative relief patterns, applied by hand with glass enamel, resulting in a precise geometric shape on which an organic-like pattern emerges, accentuating Barbini's observant eye for nature and natural shapes.
