Light Blue Contrast Vase by Margherita Barbini

A pure and minimal work, this unique opaque light-blue vase in Murano glass was designed by Margherita Barbini to investigate the contrasts of textures present in nature. The vase was blown into a hollow mold with decorative relief patterns, applied by hand with glass enamel, resulting in a precise geometric shape on which an organic-like pattern emerges, accentuating Barbini's observant eye for nature and natural shapes.
