Merging past and present in a unique design, this elegant chair is part of an exclusive collection by interior designer Nicoletta Gatti, who recovers family heirlooms and gives them a new life. Presented at Artemest's "Living Objects" event during Milan Design Week 2019, this chair's classic wooden frame has a dark finish and sinuous baluster legs. The upholstery is an out-of-catalog fabric by Rubelli and reproduces, on an ivory background, a romantic scene with two men courting a lady dressed in red on the scalloped backrest and a medieval city landscape on the comfortably padded seat.
