Hussar On Fierce Horse Sculpture

This one-of-a-kind, polychrome sculpture by master ceramist Diego Poloniato depicts a hussar sitting on the back of an energetic black horse. Hand-carved and obtained by blending semi-refractory clays, the piece is fired at 1130°, vitrified, and treated with pure oxides to create its distinctive textural quality. Slight differences from the pictured item are a testament to its entirely handcrafted production process.
