Minutely hand-woven by Sardinian artisans following the traditional "pipiones" technique, this artisan rug in prized wool was designed with the Latin motto "per aspera ad astra" (meaning "through hardships to the stars") in mind. The poetic design of migrating doves - symbols of peace - is a metaphor for the pursuit of happiness after periods of darkness.
