Piastrelle Blu Single-Stem Vase

Details of blue tiles from a Milanese building inspired architect/ceramist Isabella Secchi and designer Sara Banfi to decorate this single-stem vase. Its sculpted body is decorated in gray following the slip technique - applied by hand with a sponge for an on-relief feel - and detailed with blue brushstrokes. The proportions are borrowed from a building by architect Piero Portaluppi.
